Preparing for the Future

It can be difficult to think about what will happen with your assets when you pass away.  This process forces us to not only face our own mortality but also make some sometimes difficult decisions about who will receive our assets and who will be responsible to make sure our estate is administered properly.  If you have minor children, you will also need to think about who would care for them in the event of your death.

 We can also assist you with preparing a Power of Attorney and Georgia Advance Directive for Healthcare.  These two documents together allow you to name an agent to make decisions for you regarding your finances and healthcare and having them in place can hopefully avoid the need for an adult guardianship or conservatorship in the event you become incapacitated in the future.
